  • Bring a valid ID or license

  • Pay the fee

  • Get your card by mail (valid for 1 year)

What Are Benefits of Having a Card?

  • Higher Purchase Limits – Medical users can buy and possess more cannabis than recreational users (up to 8 oz vs. 1 oz of flower).

  • Stronger Products – Medical patients can access higher potency edibles and concentrates not available to recreational users.

  • Legal Protections – Offers stronger legal rights in housing, employment, and while carrying cannabis.

  • Grow More Plants – Medical cardholders may be allowed to grow more than the recreational limit of 6 plants, depending on county rules.
